Gurgaon Time: The traffic police have taken strict action against Bullet bike riders who were causing a disturbance by bursting firecrackers and using pressure horns. A special campaign was conducted to catch these riders. Over a month, the traffic police identified and penalized 190 riders involved in this behavior. The total fine imposed amounted to ₹19 lakhs.
The campaign ran from August 1, 2024, to August 31, 2024, targeting those violating traffic rules by using modified silencers, pressure horns, and creating noise pollution with firecrackers on Bullet bikes. During this period, the Gurugram police issued 190 challans. Out of these, 71 were for Bullet bikes using firecracker-like sounds, and 119 were for using pressure horns. The combined penalty for all these violations reached ₹19 lakhs.
