District Election Officer Nishant Kumar Yadav stated that a total of 1,504,959 voters will participate in the voting for the assembly elections on October 5th in the Badshahpur, Gurgaon, Sohna, and Pataudi constituencies. In the Pataudi assembly constituency of the district, there are a total of 254,780 voters, including 132,832 men, 121,946 women, and two transgender individuals.
In the 2024 assembly elections, 1,504,959 voters in Gurgaon district’s four assembly seats will be able to exercise their voting rights. In the previous Lok Sabha elections, the district had 1,451,954 voters. Compared to that, in the assembly elections taking place approximately five months later, there are 53,005 more voters.

In the Lok Sabha elections, their number was 251,958. Similarly, in the state’s largest assembly constituency, Badshahpur, there are a total of 520,958 voters, including 275,279 men, 245,662 women, and 17 transgender voters. During the Lok Sabha elections held in May, the number of voters was 497,044.
In the Gurgaon assembly constituency, there are a total of 443,102 voters, including 231,648 men, 211,433 women, and 21 transgender individuals. During the Lok Sabha elections, there were 424,211 voters here. In the Sohna assembly constituency of the district, there are 286,119 voters, including 152,466 men, 133,641 women, and 12 transgender individuals. In the Lok Sabha elections held around five months ago, their number was 278,741.
The district administration encouraged new voters to register to vote. All youths who turned 18 by July 1 of this year were given the opportunity to register as voters, and a large-scale voter revision campaign was conducted in August for this purpose. Before the nomination process for the assembly elections began, youths were given the chance to register on the voter portal by September 2. As a result, the district recorded an increase of over 53,000 voters. The Deputy Commissioner (DC) has appealed to citizens to vote in large numbers on October 5.
