Knowledge of Technology is Good, Addiction is Bad: Narendra Thakur

Three-Day Conference on Psychophysiological Harmony Concludes on Friday

Educators and Researchers from the US and Other Countries Participate in the Conference

Gurugram: Using technology is not wrong, but becoming addicted to it is. This can be understood as technology being beneficial when used wisely, but its addiction is harmful.

These thoughts were expressed by Narendra Thakur, All India Co-Publicity Chief of RSS, during a conference on Psychophysiological Harmony organized under the joint collaboration of Gurugram University, ICSSR, and USIEF.

The three-day international conference concluded on Friday. The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Narendra Thakur, who unveiled a selfie point based on the concept of Panch Parivartan (Five Transformations).

He elaborated on Swadeshi (Indigenous Products), Civic Duties, Environment, Social Harmony, and Family Enlightenment, urging the youth to adopt these principles in their lives.

He emphasized that technology is becoming increasingly significant and is advancing rapidly. While technology plays a major role in society, it is also leading to social isolation, affecting mental health.

The event brought together over 50 national and international experts, scholars, and professionals to discuss contemporary mental health challenges and innovative interdisciplinary approaches.

The conference received more than 90 research papers, and over two days, there were two panel discussions and six technical sessions.

Anil Kumar Rao, former CID Chief of Haryana, shared insights from his experiences and real-life examples during the seminar.

He also congratulated Prof. Dr. Gayatri Raina, Head of the Psychology Department, for organizing such a grand event.
