Haryana Assembly Election 2024: In the vote counting for Badshahpur and Gurgaon, 34 tables will be set up each, and 17 tables each will be arranged for Sohna and Pataudi.

Vote Counting for Haryana Assembly Election 2024 Scheduled for October 8: Details on Constituencies and Home Voting Arrangements

District Election Officer Nishant Kumar Yadav informed that the counting of votes for the Haryana Assembly Election 2024 will take place on October 8. The vote counting for the Badshahpur and Gurgaon assembly constituencies will be conducted in two separate halls. Each hall will have 34 tables (17 tables per hall). Similarly, the vote counting for the Pataudi and Sohna assembly constituencies will be held in one hall each.

Haryana Assembly Election 2024: After the voting, which is scheduled for October 5, the first randomization of staff appointed for the counting of votes in all four assembly constituencies of Gurugram district, which will take place on October 8, was completed late Wednesday evening. The randomization was conducted under the chairmanship of District Election Officer and DC Nishant Kumar Yadav in the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat.

District Election Officer Nishant Kumar Yadav stated that the counting of votes for the Haryana Assembly Election 2024 will take place on October 8. The vote counting for the Badshahpur and Gurgaon assembly constituencies will be conducted in two separate halls, with 34 tables set up in each hall (17 tables per hall). Similarly, the vote counting for the Pataudi and Sohna assembly constituencies will be held in one hall each, with 17 tables designated for counting in each hall. Each table will have a counting supervisor, an assistant, and a micro-observer appointed.

Before the randomization, the District Election Officer inquired about the preparations for home voting scheduled for October 27 and 29. He also directed the organisation of a training camp for the counting staff, micro-observers, and staff appointed for postal ballots on October 28. Additionally, he provided necessary guidelines regarding the nodal officers appointed at the assembly and district levels for the polling day.

The meeting was attended by various officials, including Ankit Kumar Chouksey, the Returning Officer and SDM of Badshahpur; Ravindra Kumar, the Returning Officer and SDM of Gurgaon; Hoshiar Singh, the Returning Officer and SDM of Sohna; Dinesh Kumar, the Returning Officer and SDM of Pataudi; Kushal Kataria, the nodal officer for postal ballots and ALC; Darshan Yadav, the SDM of Manesar; Kunwar Aditya Vikram Singh, CTM; Lokesh Yadav, DRCs; Vibhu Kapoor, DIO; Santlal from the Election Office; and other officials.
