After the Completion of Remand, All Five Accused Sent to Jail

Gurugram: The police have yet to recover the sticks and stones used in the murder of a 17-year-old boy from Devi Lal Colony. After the three-day remand period, all five accused have been sent to jail.

During the remand, the accused revealed the names of six accomplices, stating that they had handed over the sticks to them after the murder. As a result, the police are now taking action to arrest these six individuals.

Only after interrogating the accomplices will it become clear how many youths were involved in the boy’s murder and what objects were used in the crime.

Last Saturday, the police team, guided by the accused, searched a drain to recover the sticks but were unsuccessful.

Following this, the police conducted another round of strict questioning, during which the accused disclosed the names of their six accomplices and admitted to giving them the sticks used in the murder.

In connection with the murder of the boy, identified as Parv alias Badi, Gurugram Police arrested a minor from Jewar in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, four other accused — Mannu alias Attack from Meerut, Nitish alias Risky from Bulandshahr, Priyanshu from Basai in Gurugram, and Shammi from Vikas Nagar — were arrested last Friday from Rohtak.

The accused were placed under a three-day police remand for interrogation and have now been sent to jail following the completion of the remand period.

The in-charge of Crime Branch, Sector 10, stated that after the remand period, all five accused have been sent to jail.

During the remand, the accused provided the names of six accomplices. These individuals will soon be arrested and interrogated to uncover further details of the case.
