Tabru: On the occasion of National Youth Festival, Chief Minister Nayab Saini virtually inaugurated 250 indoor gyms across the state on Sunday. Among these, three indoor gyms have been allocated to Nuh district. These gyms are located in Kameda village of Firozpur Jhirka, Jhamuwas in Tauru, and Kota Khandewla sports ground. Equipment worth over ₹30 lakh has been installed in the gyms.
Executive Officer of the Panchayat Department, Yogesh Sharma, stated that the CM’s initiative aims to promote fitness and wellness among the youth. During the virtual inauguration, panchayat representatives participated in the ceremony. Special guests included Sarpanch Ram Avatar in Jhamuwas, Block Committee Chairman Hasan Mohammad in Kota Khandewla, and District Head Jan Mohammad in Kameda.
Each gym has been equipped with 17 types of machines and equipment, enhancing the fitness facilities in these areas. While the sports stadiums were already established, they lacked essential amenities, which the government is now working to improve.
During the virtual address, CM Nayab Saini highlighted the significance of National Youth Festival, paying tribute to Swami Vivekananda, whose teachings continue to inspire the world. He urged the youth to follow Vivekananda’s ideals and strive for excellence.
The event was attended by Panchayat Subdivision Engineer Rakesh Chaudhary, former Block Committee President Naresh Yadav, Panchayat Secretary Khurshid Ahmed, along with several panchayat representatives and officials.
