Preparation: Land acquisition for the metro station will take place.

GMRL plans to build 27 metro stations along the Old Gurugram Metro route, with a key interchange at Hero Honda Chowk. Land constraints near Udyog Vihar Phase-6 may require innovative station placement between Hero Honda and Umang Bharadwaj Chowk.

Under the 28.5-kilometer long Old Gurugram Metro route, 27 metro stations are to be constructed. An interchange station is to be built at Hero Honda Chowk, which will connect the Namo Bharat Train Station and the Metro Station. Additionally, the Udyog Vihar Phase-6 Metro Station will be constructed between Hero Honda Chowk and Umang Bharadwaj Chowk.

Land will be acquired for the construction of a metro station in Udyog Vihar Phase-6 along the metro route. The metro station will be built between Hero Honda Chowk and Umang Bharadwaj Chowk. Due to the lack of available land between the two chowks, Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) has made this decision. If acquiring land becomes difficult, GMRL plans to construct the metro station in the middle of the road. For now, GMRL has written to the project officer of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), requesting six meters of land be left between the two chowks on the 3.2-kilometer road to erect metro pillars.

NHAI is planning to widen the road and construct a flyover from Hero Honda Chowk to Umang Bharadwaj Chowk. A metro station is proposed along this road, and the road’s construction design will be made with this in mind. GMDA has requested NHAI to expand both the main road and the service road to three lanes each. Additionally, the construction of water, electricity, sewer, and stormwater drains is also planned. Initially, four meters of land was reserved for metro pillars along this road, but GMRL has now requested six meters to be reserved.

GMDA has prepared an estimate of ₹15.5 crore for the construction of a stormwater drain. The existing stormwater drain will be removed. GMDA has created this estimate and handed it over to NHAI. The road design, considering water, sewer, electricity, stormwater drain, and the metro line, will be prepared by a consulting agency on behalf of NHAI.
