Nuh: A case of cheating people through advertisements on social media platforms for services like hotel bookings, bike taxis, and selling Mughal-era gold coins has been exposed.
In a special operation, the police have arrested 15 cyber fraudsters involved in such scams. Twelve separate cases have been registered against them.
The police confiscated 20 mobile phones, 29 fake SIM cards, 250 fake Mughal-era gold coins, and one fake gold brick during the operation.
According to a Nuh Police spokesperson, the arrests were made on Tuesday and Wednesday under the direction of the Superintendent of Police.
Various teams from Nuh Police conducted raids in locations such as Palla, Sounkh, Nai, and areas along the Nuh-Hodal Road beneath the Mumbai-Vadodara Expressway.

During interrogation, it was revealed that one of the accused, Arman, son of Hamid from Gulpara, supplied fake SIM cards and mobile phones from Uttar Pradesh and other states for use in such cyber crimes.
